ASEAN Centre for Energy

ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE) dibentuk pada tanggal 1 Januari 1999. ACE merupakan organisasi antar-pemerintah independen yang bernaung dalam ASEAN dan mewakili kepentingan tiap Negara Anggota ASEAN pada sektor energi.

Di era seperti saat ini perusahaan tidak hanya melihat seseorang dari ijazah dan kampus mana mereka lulus. Namun, perusahaan juga melihat seseorang dari skill yang dimiliki. Kalau kemampuan yang dimiliki biasa-biasa saja apalagi rendah, maka besar kemungkinan akan tersingkir pada saat melamar kerja. 

Meskipun setiap posisi pekerjaan memerlukan skill atau keterampilan khusus, namun ada banyak keterampilan lain yang penting untuk dimiliki karena dapat ditransfer atau diterapkan di semua posisi.

APAEC Department Internship

  • The APAEC department is responsible for the development, coordination, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, score carding, and reporting with regards to programmes and projects in light of the priorities of the ASEAN Ministers of Energy Meeting / Senior Officials Meeting on Energy; and the seven (7) specialised areas.
Responsibilities:
  • Support the preparation of the APAEC programme implementation.
  • Develop energy related articles in promoting regional energy cooperation.
  • Support other activities of ACE as assigned by the Senior Manager.
Qualifications:
  • ASEAN national.
  • Proficiency in English and very good writing skills.
  • Interest and knowledge in the field of ACE’s work, particularly the APAEC 2016-2025’s 7 (seven) Programme Areas (more info: https://aseanenergy.org/asean-plan-of-action-for-energy-cooperation-apaec/)
  • Enrolled in bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, energy studies, international relationship, or related field (minimum of third-year student for bachelor level).
  • Graduated with a university degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent) and, if selected, must commence the internship within a 6-month period after graduation.
  • Basic knowledge on general computer software (i.e., MS Office)
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and to adapt to an international working environment.
Interns work under the supervision of Senior Manager of APAEC Department. The normal duration of an internship is two (2) months, which can be extended for a maximum of six (6) months by mutual consent.
