1. Admin Operation

Some of your duties will include:
  • Monitoring petty cash and emergency petty cash balance from the ship
  • Make a request for petty cash & emergency petty cash
  • Recap invoice / check final disbursement account from agent
  • Make a daily VDR report to the company group
  • Monitoring payments / ship tracking bills
What skills and experience do you need:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field is preferred
  • Proven 2 - 5 years experience in administrative support roles, preferably within the shipping or logistics industry
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel) and other relevant software
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of shipping industry processes and regulations is a plus
  • Familiarity with document management and record-keeping systems

2. Admin Procurement

Some of your duties will include:
  • Make purchasing or procurement plans, record and prepare goods or services needed by the company
  • Create standard procedures for goods and services so that what the company wants can be fulfilled
  • The procurement admin is also tasked with adjusting the specifications of the goods or services needed by the company with the aim of ensuring that the goods and services needed match demand
  • Look for vendors or suppliers who can provide the goods or services needed by the company. A procurement admin will deal directly with suppliers or vendors
  • Analyze comparative purchasing costs from suppliers to create a list of which suppliers or vendors meet the company's criteria and budget
  • Negotiate prices, delivery and payment times. A procurement admin will be asked to collaborate with suppliers, this will facilitate the process of negotiating prices, delivery and payment times
  • Receive goods, pay bills and carry out transactions with vendors and suppliers
  • Create a cooperation contract between the supplier and the company
  • Control inventory and check goods
What skills and experience do you need:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field is preferred
  • Proven 2 - 5 years experience in procurement or purchasing roles, ideally in the shipping or logistics industry
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, including vendor selection, negotiations, and contract management
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel) and other relevant software
  • Knowledge of shipping industry operations and the ability to understand specific procurement needs within the industry

3. Finance & Accounting (AP / AR / Tax)

Some of your duties will include:
  • Collecting and reporting invoices in accordance with certain deadlines
  • Reconcile Account Receivable and Account Payable Balance data for each month
  • Provide a list of billing invoices to the direct supervisor
  • Follow up on existing invoices and allocate payments
  • Updating the estimated cash flow receipts and Account Receivable arrears
  • Input accounting journal data into the company's financial system
  • Checking and verifying the completeness of documents related to financial transactions
  • Maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and providing financial analysis to support business operations
  • Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and internal policies
  • Preparing tax planning, calculating taxes, making reports and paying company taxes, preparing commercial and fiscal financial reports, recording company transaction data, manage of company tax systems
What skills and experience do you need:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Tax, or a related field
  • Having 3 - 7 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, and Tax
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in using finance software (Accurate, Tax, and similar software)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure
  • Preferably have knowledge of PNBP
  • Capable to handle any auditing cases

4. Maintenance Technician (Mechanical / Electrical)

Some of your duties will include:
  • Testing and ensuring a stable performance of marine engines
  • Examining and troubleshooting any issues in the electrical systems
  • Undertaking minor repairs of ship engines
  • Performing electrical AC system maintenance and plumbing repairs
  • Repairing or replacing damaged/worn-out engine components
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed service records and documents
  • Analyzing motor performance and identifying malfunctioning signs
  • Visiting docking stations to inspect vessels
  • Conducting operational tests
  • Changing oil and filters and other components during maintenance checks
  • Assisting and handling troubleshooting on other mechanical and electrical parts of the vessel
What skills and experience do you need:
  • Diploma (D3) Mechanical & Electrical Engineering for Mechanics & Electrician
  • Diploma (D3) Civil / Structural Engineer or Posses Welder Certificate for Cosntruction
  • Minimum 5 years experience on troubleshooting mechanical/electrical/structural on shipping company
  • Having knowledge of vessel operation especially for Tug & Barge Operation, Tanker, SPOB, or another vessel
  • Understand and may handle maintenance and repair of vessels, port facilities, and equipment
  • Good communication skills, team player, and detail oriented
  • Proficient in the use of maintenance and repair tools and equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willing to travel onboard vessel on the operation area
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy object, ability to work in confined spaces, and ability to climb ladders and work at heights

5. Port Captain

Some of your duties will include:
  • Prepare and promote company policy and implementation of system and procedures on fleet department
  • Coordinate, regulate, directed, educate, analyse, evaluate, improveme and monitore all activities, works process and personnel onboard
  • Ensure all procedures for Loading and Discharge Operation for Bulk Material and Liquid Cargo can work smoothly, timely manner, and budgetary wise
  • Ensure seaworthiness of all vessels under his/her responsibility by means of Daily Monitoring Report
  • Perform coordination with master in regard with recruitment, mutation and familiarization for new crew member 
  • Following up and close-out for deficiency of the PSC, entity classification, inspection terminals, and external audits
  • Arranging and implementing internal audits for operation matter and on coordination with related Department (Logistic ~ Stock Opname; DPA ~ ISM; CSO~ ISPS; Technical ~ Engine Performance, etc)
  • Maintain good communication and coordination with Local Agency and related stakeholder on coordination with External Relation Department (UPP/KSOP/Mariner, etc)
  • Issued Daily and Weekly Operation Report in terms of Operation Point of View
What skills and experience do you need:
  • Bachelor degree in Law
  • Having 2 - 5 years of experience in Legal fields, in mining industry will be a plus
  • Good understanding on Capital Market Regulations
  • Good knowledge on basic agreement drafting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

6. Port Engineer

Some of your duties will include:
  • Responsible for scheduling, coordination, oversight of vessel maintenance, repair and safe execution of all engineering needs
  • Responsible for annual repair and maintenance and capital expenditure budget development
  • Develops repair specifications and manages the repair of vessels by overseeing all activities directly related to repairs
  • Acts as liaison with the vessel Chief Engineer/ Captain on required maintenance needs
  • Coordinates and evaluates the benefit of repairs, upgrades, and modifications requested by vessel management that require contractors or significant expenditures to be performed between seasons in port
  • Oversees staffing needs for work performed in port and in shipyard
  • Manages and negotiates contractor selection, contract management and contractors work by setting up service to vessels, ensuring regulatory inspections are scheduled timely and controlling expenditures within designated projects
  • Develops maintenance and repair cost analyses and tracks actual costs against repair and maintenance and capital expenditure budgets
  • Creates PO's/WO's, reviews and closes outstanding maintenance jobs, reviews/ approves requisitions, and reviews vessel reports
  • Closes PO's of work performed and updates financial information to ensure timely and correct payment
  • Assists in the development and modification of preventative maintenance plans for vessel equipment
  • Takes communications 24 hours a day, including weekends, concerning urgent vessel maintenance, repairs, and engineering operations
What skills and experience do you need:
  • Marine Engineer Class III (ATT-III) or Bachelor Degree (S1) Mechanical Engineering / Marine System Engineering / Electrical & Instruments Engineering or other related major
  • Minimum 2 - 5 years experience as Port Engineer at a shipping company
  • Having knowledge of vessel operation especially for Tug & Barge Operation, Tanker, SPOB, or another vessel
  • Understand and may handle maintenance and repair of vessels, port facilities, and equipment
  • Good communication skills, team player, leadership, and detail oriented
  • Good at computer skills, especially MS Office, CMMS, VMS, FMS, and other vessel monitoring instruments
  • Good communication skills, fluent in English, and having strong leadership to manage technical department on troubleshooting and technical advices
  • Good ability and experience in managing multiple tasks
  • Proficient in the use of maintenance and repair tools and equipment

7. Technical Superintendent

Some of your duties will include:
  • Monitoring assigned vessel's technical operation and maintenance
  • Monitoring performance through monthly return reports/vessel inspections and maintain optimum maintenance levels
  • Monitoring and establishing reasons for excessive/unusual wear & tear and developing means to control/rectify same
  • Monitoring technical performance of vessels and monitoring consumption of spares/lub oils and bunkers
  • Monitoring survey cycles, statutory survey requirements and carrying out important surveys physically onboard
  • Planning regular and special surveys/repairs/dry docking in advance with max time and cost benefits for each vessel
  • Liasing with Operation Superintendent, Master or Chief Engineer on the vessel's maintenance programme and on operational matters
  • Inspecting vessel's under his charge at least twice a year, using a vessel inspection checklist as guidance
  • Providing detailed operating budgets for maintenance dry-docking and special survey Initiating follow-up action where possible, to contain costs, within budgeted parameters
  • Maintaining current data on costs obtained from various sources, in-cooperation with Procurement department
  • Controlling volume and preparing specifications for repairs given to outside workshops/repaires and organizing supplies of repair equipment.
  • Providing feedback on purchases and encourage ship staff to tackle same onboard
  • Drawing timely attention of principals to areas where costs might be expected and which are additional to the budget
  • Advising the ships under control on budget as well as the actual cost for the technical items
  • Reducing costs by motivating the ship's staff, improving cost awareness by regularly advising them on cost of stores and spares ordered
  • Maintaining validity of class, international, national, and specific certificates
  • Keeping up to date on requirements/changes in statutory/class rules/development and other regulations
  • Ship staff to be continuously updated/instructed/advised/follow up on implementation of same in co-ordination with Head of Technical and Operation department
  • Reviewing effectiveness of company's SMS system and discussing with Master on its implementation during inspection
  • Preparing monthly report on vessel's budgeted and actual expenditure and submit/report to Head of Technical on time
What skills and experience do you need:
  • Marine Engineer Class II (ATT-II) or Bachelor Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering / Marine System Engineering / Electrical & Instruments Engineering or other related major
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience as Superintendent at a shipping company and more than 8 years overall experience in shipping company
  • Preferably Assistant Manager specialized in Ship Management
  • Extensive knowledge of vessel technical/engineering and Plan Maintenance System especially for Tug & Barge Operation, Tanker, SPOB, or another vessel
  • Good communication skills, fluent in English, and having strong leadership to manage technical department on troubleshooting and technical advices
  • Good ability and experience in managing multiple tasks
  • Required Skill(s): Ship Management, International Covention Regulation, ISM Code, ISPS Code, Tankers Vessel
  • Good analytical and logical thinking, detail oriented, well organized, and proactive for continuous improvement
  • Good at computer skills, especially MS Office, CMMS, VMS, FMS, and other vessel monitoring instruments
