Puluhan tahun setelah ASEAN didirikan, para pemimpin ASEAN menyadari bahwa masih ada kesenjangan dalam kesejahteraan bersama, kesadaran ASEAN, dan interaksi antar masyarakat ASEAN. Karena keprihatinan ini, para pemimpin ASEAN mendirikan ASEAN Foundation pada KTT Peringatan 30 Tahun ASEAN di Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, pada tanggal 15 Desember 1997.

ASEAN Foundation berperan penting dalam mengisi kesenjangan ini. Sebagai salah satu bagian dari ASEAN, kami bertugas mendukung ASEAN terutama dalam meningkatkan kesadaran, identitas, interaksi, dan pembangunan masyarakat ASEAN. Kami menyatukan orang-orang. Dan kami membantu mengembangkan mereka. Kami adalah alat strategis untuk mencapai tujuan ASEAN.

Sejak pembentukan ASEAN pada tahun 1967, ASEAN telah menempuh perjalanan panjang untuk mempercepat pertumbuhan ekonomi, kemajuan sosial, dan pembangunan budaya di kawasan ini. Dan ASEAN Foundation telah menjadi bagian integral dari misi ini selama dua dekade terakhir.

ASEAN Foundation is hiring:

1. PROJECT OFFICER

  • S1 in Education, Management, Technology, or related fields.
  • A minimum of 4 years as a project officer or a related position with a preference for those who have supported educational projects across diverse cultures and geographies.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Good proficiency in all areas of English (writing, speaking, listening, and reading).
  • Adept in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

2. MONITORING, EVALUATION, RESEARCH, AND LEARNING OFFICER

  • S1 in a relevant field such as Social Sciences, Statistics, Economics, Education, Sociology, or a relevant field; 
  • S2 or training/certification in Monitoring and Evaluation, Research, and Reporting a plus.
  • A minimum of 3 years of of experience in designing and implementing MERL frameworks for development projects.
  • Proven experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting using quantitative and qualitative methods. 
  • Strong understanding of monitoring and evaluation principles and best practices. 
  • Knowledge of the ASEAN region and development context (a plus). 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. 
  • Technical Proficiency: Adept in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

3. PROJECT FINANCE OFFICER

  • S1 in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in financial management, preferably in project finance or grant management, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in financial management, preferably in project finance or grant management.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.

4. PROJECT ADMINISTRATION OFFICER

  • S1 in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in project management or similar fields.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and external partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with SAP B1 or similar ERP systems.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.

5. COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER

  • S2/ S2 in Communications (Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing and Communications). 
  • A minimum of 2 years and maximumof 6 years of experience in developing campaign. 
  • Excellent Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint skills, complemented by basic Microsoft Excel skill. Familiarity with other Microsoft Office’s applications is a plus.
  • Familiar with video and photo editing.
  • Digital savvy (in digital platforms such as website, social media, podcast, Mailchimp, etc.) 
  • Fluent in English (especially written).
  • Good understanding of strategic communications (development of communications work plan).
  • Good understanding of digital trend in ASEAN.
  • Good campaign monitoring and evaluation skills.
  • Ability to respect communication protocol and procurement processes.
