1. SENIOR SUPERVISOR AIRPORT SAFETY & SECURITY

SOME OF YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
  • To ensure the highest standards of safety and quality. comprehensive aviation safety protocols are spearheaded and aligned with industry benchmarks.
  • To oversight of potential risks, incident investigations, and policy developments.
  • To enhance the aviation safety environment consistently, collaborative efforts with stakeholders are employed, leveraging advanced technologies and data-driven strategies for the benefit of passengers, crew, and the broader aviation community. Able to manage competency development in its work Unit.
  • Conduct maintenance checks on aircraft, ensuring use of up-to-date tools and adherence to global aviation standards.
  • Manage and update aviation software to maintain efficiency and safety.
  • Inspect ground equipment and communication devices for safety and functionality.
  • Update and enforce adherence to technical manuals and safety protocols.
  • Initiate aviation projects with safety and quality at the forefront, including risk assessments.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders about safety and quality updates.
  • Allocate necessary resources to projects to uphold safety and quality standards.
  • Perform audits on projects, identifying and addressing safety or quality concerns.
  • Complete safety and quality checks before finalizing projects and document learnings.
  • Create and implement safety management system programs, Occupational Safety & Health Management System (SMK3) and risk management.
WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED?
  • S1 in aviation management, safety management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Have min 10 years' experience as Supervisor and 5 years' experience working in Airport Operations & Safety and Security.
  • Completed a formal training course in:
    1. Safety Management System training.
    2. Human Factors: to understand the role of human behaviour and its impact on safety in aviation.
    3. Aerodrome Emergency Plan/ AEP
    4. Accident Investigation: to lead or assist in investigations should any accidents or incidents occur and can derive lessons and preventive measures from these incidents.
    5. Lead Auditor/Internal Auditor: A certification or training as a Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor is
    6. crucial.
    7. Risk Management: to identify, assess, and prioritize risks.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of the certificate holder's Airport Operator Certificate, operational specifications, and the company's operations and technical manuals.
  • Have undergone specialized training in safety-related courses deemed by the Director as adequate preparation for the roles and responsibilities of a Safety Director.
  • Knows the contents of the certificate holder's manuals and operations specifications, and the provisions of this part necessary to the proper performance of his duties.\
  • Extensive knowledge about airport operations, safety and security.
  • Have a Safety Awareness certificate.

2. SENIOR SUPERVISOR AIRPORT OPERATION TECHNICAL

SOME OF YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
  • To maintain aircraft integrity and performance, rigorous maintenance protocols are overseen, ensuring the fleet's readiness and safety.
  • To ensure ongoing airworthiness by addressing both routine maintenance and unforeseen issues promptly.
  • To engage with suppliers, aviation authorities, and internal teams, ensuring alignment of maintenance practices with industry advancements and standards.
  • Ensure aircraft maintenance operations are streamlined, minimizing aircraft downtime and ensuring timely readiness for flight schedules.
  • Determine manpower, parts, and equipment needed for maintenance tasks and ensure they're effectively utilized to meet production targets.
  • Collaborate with operations to align maintenance schedules with flight operations, ensuring minimal disruption.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in aviation maintenance technology, ensuring the fleet benefits from cutting-edge diagnostics and repair methods.
  • Ensure that all maintenance work meets or exceeds the regulatory and company standards. This includes overseeing the calibration and functioning of tools and equipment.
  • Employ advanced diagnostic methods and technologies to identify and address aircraft issues efficiently. 
  • Ensure that all technical manuals, safety protocols, and procedures are not only updated but also adhered to. This includes reviewing and updating manuals as aircraft technology evolves.
  • Lead maintenance-related projects, such as fleet upgrades, aircraft overhauls, or integration of new technology systems.
  • Engage with manufacturers, suppliers, aviation authorities, and other stakeholders in projects related to fleet acquisition, system upgrades, or other major maintenance initiatives.
  • Before embarking on any project, conduct thorough risk assessments, considering safety, quality, budget, and timelines. Implement measures to mitigate identified risks.
  • Determine budgetary requirements for projects, ensuring efficient allocation of resources while aiming for optimal results.
  • Ensure that all project stages are well-documented, from initiation to closure, and communicate progress to stakeholders and upper management.
WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED?
  • Graduate Degree from Civil Engineer/Architecture.
  • Proven experience in airport technical services or a related field, with a strong understanding of airport systems and equipment.
  • Have minimum 10 years' experience as Supervisor with 5 years' experience in Airport Engineering.
  • Licensing: Must possess an appropriate AME (Aircraft Maintenance Engineer) license or hold equivalent qualifications that are deemed acceptable by the Director.
  • Knowledge: Must be well-acquainted with the maintenance sections of the certificate holder's company operations manual and operations specifications. Additionally, they should be knowledgeable about the relevant maintenance provisions of the applicable regulations.

3. SENIOR SUPERVISOR SAFETY & ARFF

SOME OF YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
  • Rapidly respond to aircraft emergencies, Including fires, crashes, and hazardous material Incidents.
  • Operate and drive emergency vehicles to the scene of an incident.
  • Perform firefighting operations,
  • Including extinguishing fires and rescuing trapped individuals.
  • Provide medical aid and first response services to Injured persons until advanced medical personnel arrive.
  • Conduct regular inspections of aircraft to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.
  • Perform routine checks and maintenance on ARFF vehicles and firefighting equipment to ensure operational readiness.
  • Ensure adherence to aviation safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, training, equipment maintenance, and other relevant activities. 
  • Able to explain knowledge of fire pumps, fire extinguishing tactics and techniques, knowledge of the main duties and functions of aviation accident rescue and firefighting personnel (PKP-PK).
  • Able to explain, implement and analyze emergency service and aviation safety regulations related to airports.
  • Able to develop and evaluate emergency suspension procedure.
  • To carry out vehicle maintenance, supporting equipment and operational support ARFF.
  • Can explain and operate the main vehicle PKP-PK type foam tender type I, II, UI, IV, V, V, VI, RIV, fire fighting boat, supporting vehicles and supporting equipment.
  • Able to operate watchroom equipment (radio communication equipment).
  • Able to explain the knowledge of human factors for PKP-PK (human factors for ARFF) personnel.
  • Involves managing a team of ARFF personnel, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting training, and maintaining equipment.
WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED?
  • Graduate from Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering PKPPK
  • Have minimum 4 years experience in Aviation or Airport area as Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF).
  • Have a safety awareness certificate.
  • In-depth knowledge of firefighting techniques, emergency response procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make quick, effective decisions in emergency situations
  • Proficiency in operating ARFF vehicles and equipment.

4. SENIOR AERODROME COMMUNICATION

SOME OF YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
  • Responsible in managing and enhancing communication systems and protocols within the airport environment. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless, reliable, and efficient communication between various stakeholders, including air traffic control, ground services, airline operations, and airport management. Your expertise will contribute to the safety, efficiency, and overall operational effectiveness of the airport.
  • Communication Systems Management: Oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of aerodrome communication systems, including radio, telephone, and digital communication platforms; Ensure compliance with relevant aviation regulations and standards (e.g., ICAO, FAA, EASA).
  • Operational Coordination: Facilitate effective communication between air traffic control, ground services, and other airport departments to ensure smooth airport operations; Manage and resolve communication-related issues or disruptions promptly.
  • Technical Oversight: Conduct regular inspections and testing of communication equipment to ensure optimal performance; Coordinate with technical teams for upgrades, repairs, and preventive maintenance of communication infrastructure.
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs for airport staff on communication protocols and emergency procedures; Ensure that all relevant personnel are proficient in the use of communication systems. 
  • Compliance and Reporting: Monitor communication activities to ensure adherence to safety and regulatory requirements; Prepare and submit reports on communication system performance, incidents, and improvements.
  • Emergency Response: Act as a key contact for communication during emergency situations, coordinating with emergency services and ensuring clear, accurate information flow; Participate in emergency drills and provide recommendations for communication enhancements. 
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with airlines, government agencies, and other stakeholders to address communication needs and improve overall operational efficiency; Represent the airport in industry meetings and forums related to aerodrome communication.
WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED?
  • S1 in Aviation, Communications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 
  • Advanced certification or training in aerodrome communication systems is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in aerodrome communication or a similar role within the airport operations industry. 
  • Have worked at least as an Aerodrome Controller for 5 years is a must with experience in a senior or supervisory capacity is highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of aerodrome communication systems, including radio communication, intercom systems, and data transmission technologies. 
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle complex situations with composure.
  • Relevant certifications in aerodrome communication or aviation safety are required.
